Forever His Fool 2 picks up right where part one left off..and it's even more crazier than the first.
Blurb:
Paulette is fed up with the hurt, pain and drama that Darryl has inflicted upon her life. She is determined to toss him the deuces and move on. Riding on an old tale that the best way to get over someone is to get under another, Paulette thinks this is the way to go. In her case, she has two prospects, Warren and Grant. She juggles with settling for just one. Will Darryl make it easy for her to leave him? Are Warren and Grant the true knights in shining armor they appear to be?

Review:
SMDH is all I can do at this book. At first glance, Warren seems like every woman's dream, but a sista like me has been around the block more than a few times, and I knew it was only a matter of time before his skeletons fell out of the closet. No man is that perfect. But even though he seems to have it all, and is willing to share all that he has with Paulette's silly behind, she's still hung up on Darryl- the same Darryl who is not only married, but has a few other women and kids on the side; the same Darryl who rapes and abuses her whenever he sees fit; and the same Darryl who tries to kill her at the end of the book. It's really hard to feel any kind of sympathy for Paulette, at this point. She still has Grant, who wants to whisk her away to another country and fulfill her dreams, but something tells me he's not all he seems to be, either. Just when it looks like Paulette is moving on with her life, we learn that's not the case. Not only has she still been creeping with Darryl, she learns that she's pregnant...but Darryl beats her behind, causing her to miscarry...and she still loves him. This book was drama on top of more drama, and at this point, I predict we'll be reading about Paulette's funeral by Book 3, which I really hope is coming soon.
