***Weekly Internet Foolishness Awards Runner-up***

Deep sigh....it really irks me when ignorant people try to judge an ENTIRE RACE of people based on the actions of a few. The guy who posted this is as ignorant as he is racist. Then he has the nerve to ask, is he racist? His ass already knows he is or there would have been no reason for him to post this in the first place.
Over the last several years, my people have been told and made to feel as if our lives mean absolutely nothing. The deaths of Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, and now Mike Brown have me fearing for my teenage son's life. Obviously, because these boys didn't live picture perfect lives, they didn't deserve to live. But what gets me is the internet thugs/racists use these young men as a means to judge the ENTIRE Black race. Not only is this truly horrifying, but Black people AS A WHOLE have had to endure hateful, racist comments on almost every social media outlet...being treated unfairly because of the color of our skin.  I've lost count of how many times I read comments like, "Those n***ers deserved to die...," "Black people only survive off welfare anyway...my tax dollars pay for THEM to have nice cars/phone/clothes...," and the one that really get's me is, "YOU PEOPLE are always blaming upstanding white people for your misfortune..."
I could go on and on, but I don't have that kind of time. The point is, not ALL Black people are on welfare, don't work, are deadbeat parents, are uneducated just like not ALL white people are racist or serial killers...it is unfair and ignorant to assume everyone is the same because they share the same skin tone. I won't even get started on the war on Black boys because I get pissed off every time I think about it. I don't give a damn what the young men aforementioned did wrong in their lives, at the time of their deaths, they were ALL innocent, UNARMED, teenagers, acting as teenagers of ALL races act. None of them were a threat to their murderers, yet all three have been labeled as thugs and animals who deserved to die because someone else was offended by them or their behavior. And even with this, I still don't hate or judge ALL white people...I don't think ALL white people hate me because I'm Black. I am so glad the person in the post responded in the manner he did because it should teach people like Ryan Carr a lesson....nobody is perfect. Only God can judge ANYBODY

Ryan Carr earned the Runner-up spot in this weeks Internet Foolishness Awards for Dumbest Tweet/Facebook post.

I have the BIGGEST crush on Bruno Mars. This man just has IT!!! Yeah, he's a little vertically challenged, but when he opens his mouth and starts singing, if you're anything like me, the LAST thing you're thinking about is his height. I had the opportunity to attend his Moonshine Jungle Tour in Little Rock in June and when I say I was jumping up and down, screaming & hollering like a teenage girl, I'm telling the truth. My husband went to the concert with me and I forgot he was even there at times- especially when he performed this medley of old school R & B songs. OMG!!! Do y'all see the way this man moves his hips???? And his pelvis thrusts- he gives me a mental orgasm. I mean, he has me HOT and he ain't even touched me.
Most artists don't sound the same (or all that good) singing live but Bruno sounds just the same-and at times even better- than he does on the radio. He and his band put on an AWESOME show and you definitely get your money's worth...there is no mediocre performances here. He doesn't always get the respect or credit that he deserves but right now, he's one of the best and most entertaining artists out there.
Okay, I've doted on him enough for now...I'm off to watch this video fifty-eleven more times while I fantasize he's singing especially to me.....

                                      ***Weekly Internet Foolishness Awards WINNER***

HUH????? Sometimes, I come across things on Facebook that have me scratching my head like, did I REALLY just read that? I can't even begin to form a response. Everyday, women are beaten and killed at the hands of their lovers and this broad has the nerve to say some dumb ish like this.....
I don't wish harm on anybody, but since she feels this way, she deserves a beating....

Okay, this chick wins the weekly Internet Foolishness Award because this has got to be the DUMBEST thing I've seen this week. First of all sweetie, this is America...not Nigeria and over here, women are fed up with abusive men. Obviously, Nigerian women have never watched Snapped because if Nigerian men think that BULL**** is going to fly over here, he is sadly mistaken. Some women might put up with this for whatever reason, but this is 2014 and a lot of women are fighting back.
Miz Faith obviously has some serious issues within herself if she thinks this is acceptable and she definitely deserves this award....now somebody needs to knock her over the head with it...and hopefully knock some sense into her....

                                                     ***BOOK SIGNING***

I will be signing books at the Nevada County Library on September 10th @10:00 a.m
I can't begin to express how excited I am about this. Writing has always been my passion but not knowing how to go about publishing books, prevented me from moving forward. Now, I have four published books under my belt. This is all surreal to me, but I am finally doing something that makes me happy.
I hope everyone who is able will come out and continue supporting me, as you all have been. I can't thank my reader's enough for the encouraging words, support, and reviews- letting me know that you're feeling me as an author. Hope to see ya there <3 <3 :-)
